Our independent GPs

Dr Matthew Dziegielewski

FRACGP, MBBS (Hons.)

Dr Dziegielewski brings a broad range of clinical experience, underpinned by genuine care and empathy for patients from all walks of life. He holds a double degree in Biomedical Science and Science and graduated from Monash University Medical School in 2019.

He completed his early postgraduate training at Peninsula Health, gaining valuable experience across general surgery, rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynaecology, COVID medicine, and aged care. As a General Practitioner, his clinical interests include men’s health, veterans’ health, aged care, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, and emergency medicine.

Dr Dziegielewski has extensive experience assisting with Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) claims and providing ongoing care through DVA and CVC programs.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time on the golf course or basketball court, and supporting the Carlton Football Club alongside his wife, Ashlee, and their dogs, Sam and Obi.

Dr Brad Frew

MBBS (Hons.) FRACGP

Dr Frew grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Monash University in 2005. Following graduation, he served as a Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, where he developed a strong passion for supporting veterans, informed by his own lived experience as an ADF member.

He completed his General Practice training in 2012 and has since dedicated his career to the health and wellbeing of veterans and their families. He has undertaken further training in psychology and provides Focussed Psychological Strategies to his patients. The same empathy he brings to veteran care is reflected across his broader general practice.

Dr Frew is also passionate about medical education and has served as a lecturer for fourth-year medical students at Monash University for over a decade, contributing to the training of the next generation of doctors.

A local Frankston resident, Dr Frew is married with three children. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and supporting their various activities. He is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to the community.

Dr Allara Walsh-Howe

General Practitioner, MBBS(hons.), FRACGP

Dr Walsh-Howe is a dedicated and highly regarded General Practitioner with a strong commitment to patient-centred care. She brings extensive experience across all areas of general practice, with interests in women’s health, paediatric and adolescent medicine, disordered eating and weight management, and the management of chronic conditions.

She is also passionate about medical education and is a Senior Lecturer for Monash University medical students, contributing to the training and development of future doctors.

Having recently returned from maternity leave, Dr Walsh-Howe is excited to rejoin clinical practice and begin this new chapter with the Fortitude Health Group team. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys running, particularly participating in local parkruns and running events, as well as attending live music performances.

Dr Scott Moore

Dr Moore grew up in the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne and attended St Bede’s College before completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine in 2014. He later completed his medical degree at Monash University, graduating in 2019.

Since graduating, Dr Moore has developed broad clinical experience across a wide range of specialties including emergency medicine, intensive care, paediatrics, women’s health, plastic surgery, and orthopaedic surgery. This diverse background has helped shape his patient-centred and holistic approach to care.

Dr Moore has a strong interest in preventative medicine, men’s health, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, and paediatrics. Since 2021, he has also worked with the Essendon Football Club as one of the AFL team doctors. More recently, he has expanded his focus to supporting the veteran community and has enjoyed becoming part of the Fortitude veteran healthcare team.

Outside of medicine, Scott enjoys both watching and playing sport, particularly golf and football. He also enjoys travelling with his wife Lizzie, discovering Melbourne’s brunch scene, and spending time with his dog Winston, who may have to sacrifice some of that time as Scott and Lizzie are also recent first-time parents.

Our dedicated service would not be possible without our dedicated nurses, Emma and Bianca, who play an integral role in supporting your ongoing health and delivering your personalised care plan. Experienced across a broad range of primary healthcare services, they work closely with both you and your doctor to provide coordinated, patient-centred care.

They have particular expertise in chronic disease management, comprehensive wound care, and preventative health, including maintaining up-to-date immunisations. Their focus is to ensure your healthcare needs are proactively managed, helping you receive consistent, high-quality clinical support throughout your health journey with Fortitude.

Our reception staff

Alison, Jordy, and Kate are usually the first point of contact for patients. They are committed to providing warm, efficient, and compassionate service, helping with appointment bookings, enquiries, and day-to-day patient support.

Samantha is our Practice Manager, overseeing the smooth running of the clinic. She ensures our systems, staff, and processes work seamlessly together so that both patients and clinicians receive the highest standard of care and support.
